COVID-19 Notice:

Due to current COVID-19 related travel restrictions in Maine, anyone NOT from ME, NH, VT, CT, NJ or NY should NOT choose a drive that enters the state of Maine. (i.e. The Kanc, The Hurricane & Connie's Run) Please review Maine's current travel restrictions HERE. Also see “Keep Maine Healthy FAQs” HERE for more information.

On the Kanc:

This drive stops in Fryeburg, Maine for lunch. Anyone NOT from ME, NH, VT, CT, NJ or NY should NOT choose this drive due to Maine’s current COVID-19 travel restrictions.

CONNIE'S (DRIVING PAUL CRAZY) RUN: Travel Estimate: 111 miles - 2 hours 33 minutes.

Ribbon Color: YELLOW

A moderate drive across the Kancamagus into North Conway, New Hampshire. After lunch, head up Route 113, running back and forth across the Maine border through quiet country towns. End the drive on Route 16 running past Mount Washington and back to Attitash.

THE SUGAR HILL: Travel Estimate: 80.3 miles - 1 hour 51 minutes

Ribbon Color: ORANGE

Drive the scenic Route 112 into Historic Bath, NH and follow the Wild Ammonoosuc River up to Route 117. Cross Sugar Hill where you’ll see some of the most breathtaking views in New Hampshire. After lunch in Franconia, finish your drive on scenic Route 302 that crosses through Crawford’s Notch, the source of the Saco River.

THE HURRICANE: Travel Estimate: 76.5 miles - 2 hours

Ribbon Color: RED

A spirited drive across Hurricane Mountain Road. Twice! The Hurricane is a very narrow, twisty, hilly road in the woods. Not for the faint of heart! Keep your eyes on the car in front of you and stay to your side!

THE KANC: Travel Estimate: 74.2 miles - 1 hour 48 minutes

Ribbon Color: BLUE

The White Mountain’s most famous road, the Kancamagus (lovingly known as the Kanc) has beautiful scenic views and loads of twisties (plus a hairpin turn or two). After lunch in Fryeburg, Maine, run back across the Kanc and finish your drive on the equally fun Bear Notch Road.

THE FRANC: Travel Estimate: 66.2 miles - 1 hour 23 minutes

Ribbon Color: PINK

Driving through the heart of Franconia Notch, you’ll pass the Old Man of the Mountain viewing area. (Stop in and pay your respects.) You’ll get the feeling that the mountains are rising up around you. Best viewed with the top down (if you can)! After lunch in Littleton, enjoy the quiet towns of northern New Hampshire as you make your way back to Attitash across scenic Route 302.

THE OUTLETS: Leaves with Connie’s or Hurricane and stops in North Conway for lunch.

Ribbon Color: PURPLE
